Tips:

  • Use fresh tilapia fillets: Fresh tilapia fillets will give you the best flavor and texture. If you can't find fresh tilapia, you can use frozen tilapia fillets that have been thawed in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Sear the tilapia fillets over high heat: Searing the tilapia fillets over high heat will help to create a crispy outer layer and a tender, flaky interior.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: If you overcrowd the pan, the tilapia fillets will not cook evenly. Cook the tilapia fillets in batches if necessary.
  • Use a good quality lemon-tarragon sauce: A good quality lemon-tarragon sauce will really elevate the flavor of the tilapia. You can make your own lemon-tarragon sauce or use a store-bought sauce.
  • Serve the tilapia fillets immediately: Tilapia fillets are best served immediately after they are cooked. If you need to keep the tilapia fillets warm, you can place them in a warm oven or on a warming tray.
