Tips:
- Choose fresh cranberries: Fresh cranberries have a brighter and tarter flavor than frozen or dried cranberries. If you are using frozen cranberries, thaw them completely before using.
- Chop the nuts finely: Finely chopped nuts will distribute more evenly throughout the bread and provide a more consistent texture.
- Use a light hand when mixing the batter: Overmixing the batter can result in a tough bread. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Do not overbake the bread: Overbaked bread will be dry and crumbly. Insert a toothpick into the center of the bread; if it comes out clean, the bread is done.
- Let the bread cool completely before slicing: Slicing the bread while it is still warm can cause it to crumble.
