Number Of Ingredients 8

5 1/2 cups Raisin Bran cereal
3 cups sugar
5 cups flour
5 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
1 quart buttermilk
1 cup applesauce
4 eggs, beaten

Steps:

  • Combine dry ingredients.
  • Add wet ingredients.
  • Cover tightly and refrigerate up to six weeks.

Tips for Making Perfect Bran Muffins:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients. This will make a big difference in the taste and texture of your muffins.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the muffins tough and dry. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Let the batter rest for a few minutes before baking. This will help the muffins rise more evenly.
  • Bake the muffins at a high temperature for a short amount of time. This will create a golden-brown crust and a moist, tender interior.
  • Let the muffins cool completely before serving. This will help them hold their shape and make them easier to eat.

Conclusion:

Bran muffins are a delicious and healthy breakfast or snack. They are easy to make and can be customized with your favorite fruits, nuts, and spices. With a little planning, you can enjoy a fresh batch of bran muffins any day of the week.
