1/4 cup chopped sweet red pepper
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1 bottle (8 ounces) Italian salad dressing

  • In a glass bowl, combine all ingredients and allow to marinate several hours or overnight.

Nutrition Facts :

Tips:

  • Choose the right mushrooms: For this recipe, cremini or button mushrooms work best. They have a mild flavor that will absorb the marinade well.
  • Slice the mushrooms evenly: This will help them cook evenly. If the mushrooms are too thick, they may not cook through. If they are too thin, they may become too soft.
  • Use a flavorful marinade: The marinade is what will give the mushrooms their flavor. Be sure to use a marinade that you enjoy the taste of. You can experiment with different ingredients to create your own unique marinade.
  • Let the mushrooms marinate for at least 30 minutes: This will give them time to absorb the flavors of the marinade. The longer you marinate the mushrooms, the more flavorful they will be.
  • Cook the mushrooms over medium heat: This will help them cook evenly without burning. If you cook the mushrooms over too high heat, they may become tough and chewy.
  • Serve the mushrooms immediately: Marinated mushrooms are best served fresh. They can be served as an appetizer, side dish, or main course.

Conclusion:

These simply marinated mushrooms are a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed in many different ways. They are easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences.
