Tips:

  • Chop your veggies evenly. This will help them cook evenly and prevent some from becoming overdone while others remain undercooked.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. If you add too many veggies to the pan at once, they will steam instead of sautéing and will become soggy.
  • Season your veggies liberally. A good rule of thumb is to use 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper per pound of vegetables.
  • Cook the veggies until they are tender-crisp. You don't want them to be too soft or they will lose their flavor.
  • Serve the dippers immediately. They are best when they are hot and fresh.

Conclusion:

Unstuffed pepper dippers are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They are perfect for parties or potlucks, and they can also be enjoyed as a healthy after-school snack.
