Tips:

  • Prep Ahead: To save time, wash and dry the spinach ahead of time and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Fresh Ingredients: For the best flavor, use fresh spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes.
  • Variety of Mushrooms: Feel free to mix and match different types of mushrooms, such as cremini, shiitake, or oyster mushrooms.
  • Homemade Dressing: Making your own dressing allows you to control the ingredients and adjust the flavors to your liking.
  • Experiment with Toppings: Add other toppings such as crumbled feta cheese, sliced almonds, or crispy bacon for extra flavor and texture.
  • Portion Control: Spinach is a low-calorie food, but the dressing can add calories. To keep the salad light, use a light hand with the dressing.
  • Serve Immediately: Spinach salad is best enjoyed immediately after it is made, as the dressing can wilt the spinach over time.
