SIMPLE SPAGHETTI WITH TOMATO SAUCE
This basic pasta dish can be transformed by adding extras like cooked bacon, shrimp or even a few handfuls of baby spinach to the sauce. We like canned San Marzano plum tomatoes because they are slightly sweeter and less acidic than other varieties.

SIMPLE SPAGHETTI PIE
I absolutely love how easily this spaghetti pie jazzes up a simple Italian meal. This is my ultimate dish I make whenever guests come over. Every guest has requested this recipe. Very versatile to suit your style/taste. You can halve the recipe and put it in the 8x8 pan. I usually don't measure the ingredients for the layers; I just eye it to my taste. I like the sauce cooked separately, to allow for flexibility in serving. Feel free to experiment !

SIMPLE ROASTED SPAGHETTI SQUASH
Because a spaghetti squash is difficult to cut through when uncooked, we found that roasting it whole is the easiest way to prepare it for this spaghetti squash recipe. Follow this recipe, then use the strands of spaghetti squash to make one of our other recipes, like Spiced Squash Pancakes, Roasted Squash with Parmesan and Herbs, Spaghetti Squash Gratin, or Quick Turkey Bolognese with Spaghetti Squash.

SIMPLE SPAGHETTI DISH
A great simple meal or late night snack for anyone on a budget, and so simple you won't even need to print it out. Spaghetti is preferred, but any pasta will do. Add as much butter, salt, and pepper as you like. My siblings and I (Bird) ate this often growing up as a quick meal to cure the munchies, especially if there wasn't much in the pantry. It's also great for college kids, etc. ;)

SIMPLE SPAGHETTI SAUCE
I created this sauce in my kitchen just the other night. I thought I had bought spaghetti sauce the last time I went out shopping but couldn't find it anywhere! So I gathered a few ingredients - pre-made of course - and began making a sauce that I think turned out more fabulous than the store bought type I usually use. Even my husband loved it, so thought I should share it :) From beginning to end it literally only took 10 minutes to toss together and simmered it about 15-20 minutes to let the spices and flavors meld. YUM!!

Steps:
- Brown your ground beef or, skinless chicken tenderloins until done all the way through.
- If using chicken tenderloins, strip off fat after done cooking and dice the chicken into bite sized cubes.
- While meat is browning on medium temperature cut and dice your garlic and fry together with your meat (or if using jarred type just toss in with your meat and brown together).
- While those two are cooking begin crushing your herbs. If you don't have a mortar and pestle, put the herbs in a thick plastic sandwich bag or similar and use a rolling pin, meat mallet or, similar and gently (don't go absolutely wild - unless you've had a really bad day :)) and beat the herbs until almost a fine grind of sorts, should not look like dust! Then add this to your meat mixture.
- Last but not least add in all the other ingredients and stir together, mixing well.
- Let simmer on med-high for about 5 minutes stirring occasionally and then turn down to med. low for remainder of time and cover. After you have done this then cook your favorite pasta and when that is done, just top with your sauce and you're done.
- Don't forget to make garlic bread!
- If it is not thick enough just add more parmesan to the mixture.
- Also feel free to add other veggies like zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, etc. Make it your own!

Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the dish will taste. Look for fresh, organic produce and high-quality pasta and cheese.
- Cook the pasta al dente: Al dente means "to the tooth" in Italian, and it refers to the ideal texture of cooked pasta. It should be slightly firm to the bite, not mushy.
- Don't rinse the pasta: Rinsing the pasta removes the starch, which helps the sauce stick to the pasta. If you want to rinse the pasta, do so briefly with cold water.
- Use a large pot: The pasta will need plenty of room to cook properly. A large pot will also help to prevent the pasta from sticking together.
- Salt the pasta water: Salting the pasta water helps to flavor the pasta. Add about 1 tablespoon of salt per pound of pasta.
- Use a wooden spoon to stir the pasta: A wooden spoon will help to prevent the pasta from sticking to the pot.
- Serve the pasta immediately: Pasta is best served immediately after it is cooked. If you need to hold the pasta for a while, toss it with a little olive oil to prevent it from sticking together.
Conclusion:
Spaghetti is a simple and delicious dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a meal that is both satisfying and affordable. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give spaghetti a try.
