Steps:
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder. Season the ribs evenly with the mixture, making sure to rub it in on all sides.
- Add the honey, soy sauce, and garlic to a large slow cooker. Transfer the ribs to slow cooker and turn them over in the sauce until coated. Position the ribs so they are standing up, with the meatier side down, and so the meat is against the walls of the slow cooker, with the bone sides facing in. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 7-8 hours. Check after the allotted time to make sure the meat is cooked through and tender.
- Remove the ribs and transfer to cutting board. Cut between the bones to separate into individual ribs. Serve with additional sauce from the slow cooker, as needed
- Enjoy!

HONEY GARLIC RIBS
Freeze ribs right in the marinade to take along to the cottage or those guests expected in a few days So easy to make and such a wonderful flavor. This recipe came from a Canadian living magazine a number of years ago and I have been making them ever since. I so often have a bag made up at the cottage for those unexpected guests or those hot summer days when you just don't feel like cooking. They can also be served as a appetizer.

Steps:
- Par boil one rack of ribs, (I usually cut into 2-3 rib sections) for about 20 minutes.
- Place in glass baking dish, do not pile.
- In a microwavable measure cup put in soy, honey, and garlic, microwave on high about 30 seconds, enough to dissolve honey.
- Pour mixture over the ribs, and cover with foil.
- Bake at 350 for 20 minute Then uncover, and bake another 20 minute.
- Baste occasionally.
Tips:
- To ensure tender and flavorful ribs, choose high-quality pork ribs. Look for ribs that are meaty and have good marbling.
- Before cooking, remove the tough membrane from the back of the ribs by carefully slipping a knife underneath and pulling it off.
- To create a flavorful marinade, combine honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Adjust the measurements to suit your taste preferences.
- Marinate the ribs for at least 30 minutes, but ideally overnight, to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.
- When baking the ribs, cover them with aluminum foil to help them cook evenly and prevent them from drying out.
- Brush the ribs with the marinade every 20-30 minutes while baking to keep them moist and flavorful.
- Once the ribs are cooked through, increase the oven temperature and broil them for a few minutes to caramelize the sauce and create a crispy exterior.
- Serve the ribs hot with additional honey garlic sauce, steamed rice, and your favorite sides.
Conclusion:
This simple honey garlic ribs recipe is a delicious and easy-to-follow guide to creating fall-off-the-bone ribs that are bursting with flavor. The combination of honey, garlic, and soy sauce creates a marinade that infuses the ribs with a sweet, savory, and slightly tangy taste. Baking the ribs covered in foil helps them cook evenly and retain their moisture, while broiling them at the end caramelizes the sauce and gives the ribs a crispy exterior. Whether you're cooking for a family meal or a special occasion, these honey garlic ribs are sure to be a hit. So gather your ingredients, fire up your oven, and get ready to enjoy a mouthwatering rib dinner that will satisfy your cravings.
