1 cup water
3 eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
1 (16 ounce) package prepared chocolate frosting
18 lollipop sticks
1 (14 ounce) bag chocolate candy melts
1 (.75 ounce) tube decorating icing

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Beat cake mix, water, eggs, and oil in a bowl using an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds. Increase speed to medium and beat for 2 minutes more. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and leveled), plus more for pan
1/2 pound lemons (about 2), ends removed, cut crosswise into thin slices, and seeds removed
Coarse salt
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Confectioners' sugar, for dusting
Raspberries and whipped cream (optional), for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly butter and flour a 9-inch round cake pan (2 inches deep). In a medium saucepan, cover lemon slices with 3 cups water. Add pinch of salt, cover, and bring to a boil over high. Boil lemons, partially covered, until very tender, 15 minutes. Drain in a colander and transfer to a food processor, along with lemon juice; process until smooth. Set aside.

3 medium apples, sliced thin (I used Granny Smith)
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup sugar (white or brown)
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/3 cup butter (or shortening)
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Steps:

  • Topping.
  • It is not necessary to peel the apples, but I do.
  • Combine the sliced apples,lemon juice,sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Combine dry ingredients - flour,baking powder and salt in a bowl, set aside.
  • In a large bowl cream butter, add sugar gradually, beat well.
  • Beat eggs into creamed mixture.
  • Measure sour cream into a separate bowl, add baking soda, stir together; the cream will rise up and become fluffy.
  • Add sour cream to the batter alternately with the dry ingredients. Blend well.
  • Pour half the batter into a greased and floured 9" square cake pan, top with half the apple mixture.
  • Add remaining batter and arrange rest of the apples on top.
  • Bake in 325 degree oven for 50-60 minutes.

  • Grease and flour one 9" or 10" bundt pan.
  • Combine cake mix, eggs, instant vanilla pudding, water, oil, almond extract, and 6 tsp.
  • of the amaretto, and blend together well.

For those of you who love to bake a quick 2 layer cake, this filling is a must & goes great with fruit too! **NOTE** I recently used this filling for my son's 4th Birthday Cake (Pictured the Krabby Patty Cake in the photos) I used Jello's Brand Banana Cream Pudding and instead of adding 1 tsp of the Vanilla extr. I used 1 tsp of Coconut Extract. I put sliced Strawberries on top of that and it truly was a great tropical type of flavor! I also did the bottom tier with reg. Choco. Pudding and then sliced bananas on that. You can truly use so many types of Flavors. I did like the Banana w.Coconut flavor though! Yum!

It's very similar to German Chocolate Cake, but with more chocolate! And the cake is very easy to make because you don't have to cream butter and sugar together, and the topping is simply stirred together and spooned on the cake. *** Warning *** after placing topping on the cake it is extremely important that you watch this cake 100% of the time or it will burn/scorch quickly. It is a bit more labor intensive but turns out great with a watchful eye.

1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1/4 cup cocoa
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup flaked coconut
1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp. heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup semisweet chocolate, chip

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Grease a 9x13" pan and set aside. In a large bowl, combine oatmeal with 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup chocolate chips. Pour boiling water over all, and let stand for 5 minutes. Then add the cocoa and mix well with a wire whisk so the chocolate and butter melt. Add 3/4 cup sugar and 1 cup brown sugar and whisk to combine. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
  • Add eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla and beat until combined. Then add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix with a wire whisk until well blended. Immediately pour batter into prepared pan.
  • Bake at 350F for 25-35 minutes until cake pulls away from sides of pan and springs back when lightly touched in center.
  • Prepare topping while cake is baking. Combine 1/3 cup melted butter, walnuts, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, coconut, cream, and 1 teaspoons vanilla in a medium bowl; mix well. When cake tests done, remove from oven and set on wire rack.
  • Turn oven to broil. Drop topping mixture by small spoonfuls onto cake; spread very gently to cover. Place under broiler, 4" from heat source, and broil for 2-5 minutes until topping is bubbly and light golden brown. Watch this every single second, turning the cake from front to back so the frosting cooks evenly. It can burn in a couple of seconds, so keep watching! When the frosting is bubbling furiously all over the cake and is beginning to brown in spots, remove cake from oven and sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips. Let stand for 10 minutes, then carefully swirl the chocolate chips into the frosting with the tip of a knife.
  • Cool and cut into squares. Serve warm or cool.

Steps:
