Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all your ingredients and tools ready. This will help you stay organized and prevent any scrambling during the cooking process.
  • Quality Ingredients: Use fresh, high-quality ingredients whenever possible. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your dish.
  • Don't Overcook the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to the package directions, but be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked pasta will be mushy and unpleasant.
  • Use a Good Quality Olive Oil: Olive oil is a key ingredient in this dish, so make sure you use a good quality extra virgin olive oil.
  • Don't Skimp on the Cheese: Cheese is another important ingredient in this dish, so don't be afraid to use plenty of it. A good quality Parmesan cheese will add a lot of flavor.
  • Let the Dish Rest: After you've assembled the casserole, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld together and the dish to set.
