Tips:
- To make the shrimp and crab squares extra crispy, make sure to fry them in hot oil. The ideal temperature is 375°F (190°C). If the oil is too cold, the squares will absorb too much oil and become greasy. If the oil is too hot, the squares will brown too quickly and won't have a chance to cook through.
- Don't overcrowd the pan when frying the shrimp and crab squares. If you add too many squares at once, they will not cook evenly. Fry the squares in batches if necessary.
- If you don't have fresh shrimp or crab, you can use frozen seafood. Just make sure to thaw it completely before using.
- Serve the shrimp and crab squares with your favorite dipping sauce. Some popular options include tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and sweet and sour sauce.
Conclusion:
Shrimp and crab squares are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for parties or potlucks, and they can also be enjoyed as a quick and easy weeknight meal. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a dish that is sure to impress your family and friends.
