- Simmer until sprouts are coated with cream, stirring frequently.

Tips:
- Choose firm, compact Brussels sprouts: Look for sprouts that are bright green and tightly packed with leaves. Avoid any that are yellowing or have loose leaves.
- Trim the Brussels sprouts properly: Cut off the tough outer leaves and the stem end. If the sprouts are large, you can also cut them in half or quarters.
- Shred the Brussels sprouts thinly: This will help them cook evenly and quickly. You can use a food processor or a sharp knife to shred the sprouts.
- Toast the pine nuts: Toasting the pine nuts will bring out their flavor and make them more香脆. Heat a small skillet over medium heat and add the pine nuts. Cook, stirring constantly, until the pine nuts are golden brown and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Don't overcook the Brussels sprouts: Brussels sprouts should be cooked until they are tender but still have a slight crunch. Overcooked Brussels sprouts will be mushy and bland.
- Season the Brussels sprouts well: Salt, pepper, and garlic powder are all good seasonings for Brussels sprouts. You can also add other seasonings, such as lemon zest, red pepper flakes, or smoked paprika, to taste.

Shredded Brussels sprouts with pine nuts is a delicious and healthy side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences.
