Steps:
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Set aside to drain and cool to room temperature.
- Spread the beans into the bottom of a 9x13 inch serving tray that is about 1 1/2 inches deep. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheese on top of beans. Sprinkle beef on top of cheese. Spread sour cream very slowly on top of beef. Spread guacamole on top of sour cream. Pour salsa over guacamole and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese. Sprinkle black olives, tomatoes, and green onions on top.
- You can serve this dish immediately, or refrigerate it over night and serve cold. I think it tastes better at room temperature.

SEVEN-LAYER DIP
For this recipe, the traditional 7-layer dip has been revisited so that each layer is good enough to eat on its own, but isn't so much effort that the whole thing can't be finished in 20 minutes. The order of the layers offers some delightful moments, like where the cheese melts into the warm refried beans or where the cool sour cream meets the fiery salsa. Cilantro and scallions serve as a refreshing counterpoint, and Fritos lend added crunch. No need to dig out your trifle bowl: A platter with a lip is preferred here for easier scooping.

SEVEN-LAYER MEDITERRANEAN DIP
I like traditional seven-layer Mexican dip, but I love Mediterranean ingredients even more. When I made this mashup, my husband wolfed it down. And he won't even touch hummus or Greek olives on their own! -Bee Engelhart, Bloomfield Township, Michigan

SUNNY'S EASY 7-LAYER GYRO DIP
One of my favorite things to order for delivery from a Greek restaurant is a gyro salad. It has all the things you want inside a gyro sandwich, but in salad form. It usually comes with two warm pitas on the side, so I love to make my own gyro from all the elements. This is a dip that gives me all those vibes and more. It's great with pita chips or as an easy way to serve gyros to a group without having several topping bowls. Just have warm pita on the side and a spoon to scoop the dip. Sometimes, I serve it this way with crisp, shredded lettuce in a bowl on the side.

Steps:
- For the lamb: In a large pan on medium heat, add the olive oil. When it begins to swirl, add the onion, garlic, oregano, lamb, salt and plenty of black pepper. Combine the ingredients, breaking up the lamb while cooking, until it is browned, about 10 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Layer the dip. In an 8-inch square dish, layer in this order: Spread the hummus on the bottom, then sprinkle evenly with the lamb, feta, tomatoes and cucumbers. Spread the tzatziki dip over the top and sprinkle with the dill to finish. Serve with the pita chips.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients to ensure the best flavor. Fresh avocados, ripe tomatoes, and flavorful cheese are essential.
- Make sure the guacamole is well-seasoned. Add lime juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Spread the layers evenly so that each bite has a good balance of flavors and textures.
- Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve the dip with a variety of dippers, such as tortilla chips, vegetable crudités, or pita bread.
