COLD-BUSTING GINGER CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP

Cold-Busting Ginger Chicken Noodle Soup image

A spicy addition to a classic soup. I normally make this with a whole chicken and let it cook for an hour, remove the meat, and return the bones for another hour on their own, chicken breasts are used here for simplicity.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ginger and garlic: Fresh ginger and garlic provide the best flavor for this soup. If you only have dried ginger or garlic powder, you can use them in a pinch, but the flavor will be less intense.
  • Don't overcrowd the pot: When you add the noodles to the soup, don't overcrowd the pot. This will prevent the noodles from cooking evenly.
  • Serve immediately: This soup is best served immediately after it is made. The noodles will start to absorb the broth and become soft if you let it sit for too long.

Conclusion:

This sesame ginger chicken noodle soup is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. It is also a great way to use up leftover chicken. The soup is flavorful and satisfying, and the noodles add a nice chewy texture. If you are looking for a healthy and tasty soup recipe, this sesame ginger chicken noodle soup is a great option.
