Tips and Conclusion

Tips:

  • Choose the Best Cucumber: Select firm and bright green cucumbers for the perfect crunch and freshness.
  • Prepare Your Tofu: Press the tofu beforehand to remove excess water and achieve a firmer texture.
  • Slice Evenly: Cut the tofu and cucumber into uniform pieces for even cooking and consistent texture.
  • Toast Your Sesame Seeds: Lightly toast the sesame seeds to enhance their flavor and aroma.
  • Make a Flavorful Dressing: Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and honey for a well-balanced dressing.
  • Marinate the Tofu: Allow the tofu to marinate in the dressing for at least 30 minutes, or longer for deeper flavor.
  • Cook the Tofu: Pan-fry or bake the tofu until slightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
  • Assemble the Salad: Combine the marinated tofu, cucumber, red onion, and cilantro in a bowl.
