Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
- Heat the olive oil in a medium saute pan. Add the onions, thyme, salt, and pepper and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes, until the onions are translucent but not brown. Off the heat, add the Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock, and tomato paste. Allow to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, onion mixture, bread crumbs, and eggs, and mix lightly with a fork. Don't mash or the meat loaf will be dense. Shape the mixture into a rectangular loaf on a sheet pan covered with parchment paper. Spread the ketchup evenly on top. Bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, until the internal temperature is 160 degrees F and the meat loaf is cooked through. (A pan of hot water in the oven, under the meat loaf, will keep the top from cracking.) Serve hot.
DELICIOUS MEATLOAF
This is my grandma's meat loaf recipe that she has been making for years! It doesn't taste like the regular bland meatloaf. It is very affordable to make and this one has a bit of a sweet taste thanks to the sauce you put on top! It is very simple and it is made with things that people typically always have in their pantry/ fridge. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do, leave feedback and let me know! Tip: I always make more of the sauce because its so yummy! SERVE WITH: Mashed potatoes, green beans, and a pie.

- Soak the bread crumbs in milk before adding them to the meat mixture. This will help to bind the ingredients together and prevent the meatloaf from becoming dry.
- Add a variety of seasonings to the meat mixture, such as garlic, onion, paprika, and thyme. This will give the meatloaf a delicious flavor.
- Line the loaf pan with parchment paper before adding the meat mixture. This will make it easy to remove the meatloaf from the pan after it is cooked.
- Bake the meatloaf at a low temperature for a longer period of time. This will help to prevent the meatloaf from becoming dry.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the meatloaf to retain its juices.
