Time 30m

Yield 4 , 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 large sweet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 dash white pepper

Steps:

  • Scrub the sweet potatoes and leave the skin on (best part.).
  • I like using a french fry cutter (it works sort of like those apple corer/slicer things) for this but if you don't have one, just use a knife to cut the potatoes into shoestrings.
  • Put the raw fries into a mixing bowl, and pour in the olive oil. Toss well to coat.
  • Add the seasonings and toss well again.
  • Arrange the fries on a baking sheet and bake at 400F for 10 minutes.
  • Turn the fries with a spatula and bake for another 10 minutes.
  • Blot any excess oil with paper towels, serve, and enjoy!

Tips:

  • Choose sweet potatoes that are firm and smooth, with no blemishes or bruises.
  • Cut the sweet potatoes into even-sized fries so that they cook evenly.
  • Soak the sweet potato fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This will help to remove excess starch and make them more crispy.
  • Toss the sweet potato fries with a little olive oil and your desired seasonings before baking. This will help them to brown and crisp up.
  • Bake the sweet potato fries at a high temperature (425 degrees Fahrenheit or 220 degrees Celsius) for about 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve the sweet potato fries immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Conclusion:

These seasoned sweet potato fries are a delicious and healthy snack or side dish. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With their sweet and savory flavor, these fries are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
