Seasoned Flour for Chicken image

This recipe works great for wings, chicken strips, chicken fried chicken or possibly chicken fried steak(I haven't tried the steak one yet). I'll be darned if I know where I got the recipe from but if and when I find out, I'll attribute it to the proper provider. I have made a few minor alterations to fit our taste and I believe it was for the better.

Tips:

  • Choose the right flour: All-purpose flour is a good choice for seasoned flour, as it provides a neutral flavor that will not overpower the chicken. You can also use bread flour or cake flour, but these flours may produce a different texture.
  • Use a variety of spices: The spices you use for your seasoned flour will depend on your personal preferences. Some popular options include paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, and oregano.
  • Be careful not to over-season the flour: You want the flour to be flavorful, but you don't want it to be so salty or spicy that it overpowers the chicken.
  • Use the seasoned flour immediately: Once you have mixed the seasoned flour, use it right away. If you let it sit for too long, the spices will lose their flavor.
  • Coat the chicken evenly: When you are coating the chicken in the seasoned flour, be sure to coat it evenly. This will help to ensure that the chicken cooks evenly.

Conclusion:

Seasoned flour is a great way to add flavor to your chicken. It is easy to make and can be used with a variety of recipes. Whether you are baking, frying, or grilling chicken, seasoned flour will help to create a delicious and flavorful dish. So next time you are cooking chicken, give seasoned flour a try. You won't be disappointed!
