0.25 cup prepared horseradish
0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg

3 pounds russet potatoes (about 6), peeled and thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Butter a shallow 3-quart baking dish. In a large bowl, combine the cream, horseradish, nutmeg, 1½ teaspoons salt, and ¾ teaspoon pepper. Add the potatoes and toss to coat.

1-1/2 to 2 cups crushed butter-flavored crackers

3 Tbsp horseradish
2 lb yukon gold potatoes, peeled, sliced
3/4 c whipping cream
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 c shredded swiss cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375F. Grease 1-1/2 quart casserole. Combine milk & horseradish in medium microwavable bowl. Microwave on high about 1 minute or just until hot; set aside.
  • 2. Cut potatoes into 1/4" thick slices; layer slices in prepared casserole. Stir cream, salt & pepper into milk mixture; pour over potatoes.
