Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use high-quality Italian sausage. Look for sausage that is made with fresh, local ingredients and has a good balance of spices.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can chop the vegetables by hand. Just be sure to chop them finely so that they cook evenly.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan when cooking the vegetables. If you do, they will steam instead of sautéing and will not brown properly.
  • Be careful not to overcook the pasta. It should be cooked al dente, which means it should be tender but still have a slight bite to it.
  • Serve the pasta immediately topped with the sausage and vegetable sauce. You can also sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Conclusion:

These savory Italian rounds are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. They are packed with flavor from the Italian sausage, vegetables, and sauce. Plus, they are a great way to use up leftover pasta. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal, give these savory Italian rounds a try.
