1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 medium unpeeled potatoes, cut into 1-inch slices (2 cups)
2 medium onions, sliced (1 1/2 cups)
2 medium carrots, cut into 1-inch slices (1 cup)
2 cups chopped green cabbage
1 ring (1 lb) fully cooked smoked turkey sausage, cut into 1-inch slices
1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green pepper, celery and onion, undrained

Steps:

  • In small bowl, mix dressing and mustard. In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, arrange potato slices in even layer; drizzle with one-third of the dressing mixture. Arrange onion slices on potatoes; drizzle with one-third of the dressing mixture. Top with carrots and cabbage; drizzle with remaining dressing mixture.
  • Arrange sausage slices on vegetables. Pour tomatoes in even layer over sausage.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 8 hours.

1 1/4 c water
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 (6-oz) pkg long-grain & wild rice mix (original recipe) with seasoning packet (such as uncle ben's, or similar brand)
1/2 c pineapple preserves
1 lb precooked smoked turkey kielbasa, halved lengthwise and cut into 1-inch slices
1 (8-oz) can(s) sliced carrots, well drained
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 stalk(s) celery, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 small red bell pepper, chopped
1 small orange (or yellow) bell pepper, chopped
8 oz can pineapple chunks in unsweetened juice, undrained

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • 2. In small saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.
  • 3. In ungreased 2 1/2-quart casserole dish, combine all ingredients including seasoning packet from the rice package and boiling water; mix well. Cover dish with lid or foil.
  • 4. Bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

12 ounces spicy bulk sausage (we use Jimmy Dean)
10 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup sour cream
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 zucchini, chopped
16 ounces mushrooms, sliced
2 cups cubed American cheese or 2 cups Velveeta cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Cook sausage.
  • Drain grease and set aside to cool slightly.

41 g French onion soup mix (the powdered kind)
2 cups water
