Tips:

  • Use good quality sausage: The type of sausage you use will greatly affect the flavor of your stroganoff. Choose a sausage that is flavorful and has a good texture. Italian sausage, chorizo, or bratwurst are all good options.
  • Brown the sausage well: Browning the sausage will help to develop its flavor and give it a nice crispy texture. Be sure to cook the sausage over medium-high heat until it is browned on all sides.
  • Use a good quality beef broth: The beef broth is another important ingredient in stroganoff. Choose a broth that is flavorful and has a rich beefy taste. You can also use chicken broth if you prefer.
  • Don't overcook the sauce: The sauce should be cooked until it is thickened and creamy, but be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked sauce will lose its flavor and become watery.
  • Serve over egg noodles or rice: Stroganoff is traditionally served over egg noodles or rice. You can also serve it over mashed potatoes or your favorite pasta.
