Steps:
- Bring 4 to 6 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot.
- Cut 1 to 1 1/2 inches off of the bottom of the broccoli rabe stalks; cut into 1 1/2-inch sections.
- Place trimmed broccoli rabe and orecchiette into the boiling water and boil until pasta is tender, 12 to 14 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat 3 tablespoons oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add sausage and cook for 6 minutes; stir in garlic and cook until sausage is browned and crumbly, 2 to 3 minutes more.
- Heat a medium-sized pan over medium heat. Add enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan. Stir in bread crumbs. Cook until browned and crunchy, about 5 minutes.
- Drain the pasta pot. Add drained broccoli rabe and orecchiette to the sausage. Add red pepper flakes and 1/2 of the bread crumbs and stir well.
- Transfer 1/2 the pasta mixture to a large bowl. Stir in 1/2 the Pecorino cheese. Add remaining pasta mixture to the bowl and top with remaining cheese; mix well. Top with remaining bread crumbs.

- Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink, breaking into crumbles. - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil and orecchiette and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, heat a large (10-inch) skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir sausage in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard most of the fat. Transfer cooked sausage to a bowl and return skillet to medium-high heat.
- Add bell pepper and green onion to the skillet. Saute until white of onion becomes translucent, about 5 minutes. Add broccolini and garlic; saute until broccolini is crisp-tender, about 3 minutes more. Set vegetables aside.

Heat broiler. place peppers, skin side up, on foil lined baking sheet broil them on each side til char like (18-20min) when cooke place in bowl & cover w/ plastic wrap to keep steam inside for easy peeling,remove w/ paper towel & shred w/ fingers into strips,reserve juice from peppers do not discard.Set aside both peppers & juice.
- 2. In pot of boiling water salt & cook pasta according to box,drain & reserve 1/2cp pasta water.Meanwhile , heat skillet w/ olive oil over med. heat & cook sausage breaking it up into sm. pieces, brown 10min or so till all cooked, add roasted peppers & its juice, cook 7min more. Transfer sausage mixture to serving bowl; add pasta, butter,reserved pasta water & parm-regg cheese.Toss & enjoy
