Tips:

  • Choose high-quality sausage: Opt for fresh, flavorful sausage that is free from preservatives. Look for sausage made with natural ingredients and a good balance of spices.
  • Cook the sausage thoroughly: Make sure the sausage is cooked through to prevent any potential foodborne illness. Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the internal temperature of the sausage reaches at least 160°F (71°C).
  • Use a variety of vegetables: This recipe is adaptable, so feel free to use a variety of vegetables based on your preference. Some good options include bell peppers, onions, carrots, mushrooms, and zucchini.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the sausage and vegetables, make sure not to overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the ingredients from cooking evenly and may result in steamed vegetables instead of nicely browned ones.
  • Season to taste: Adjust the seasonings in the recipe according to your preference. You may want to add more garlic, herbs, or spices to suit your taste.
