SAUSAGE HASH BROWN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

Sausage Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole image

This super-easy breakfast casserole is actually good. You can make it the night before and keep the sausage/hash brown mixture separate from the egg mixture, then pour it over top right before it goes into the oven. You might need to cook it a little longer if its cold from the fridge. This is also great if you add a little onion.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Choose fresh, flavorful ingredients for the best results. Look for good quality sausage, potatoes, and cheese.
  • Don't overcook the potatoes: The potatoes should be cooked through but still slightly firm. Overcooked potatoes will become mushy and ruin the texture of the casserole.
  • Use a variety of cheeses: Feel free to experiment with different cheeses to create a unique flavor profile. Some good options include cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, and Gruyère.
  • Add your favorite mix-ins: This casserole is a great way to use up leftover vegetables and meat. Try adding diced bell peppers, onions, spinach, or cooked bacon.
  • Make it ahead of time: This casserole can be made ahead of time and refrigerated overnight. This makes it a great option for busy mornings.

Conclusion:

Sausage Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dinner. It is packed with flavor and can be customized to your liking. With its crispy hash brown crust, savory sausage and cheese filling, and fluffy egg topping, this casserole is sure to be a hit with everyone at the table.
