These Cream Cheese Sausage Crescent Roll Ups are so simple to make and one of my family's favorite breakfast recipes. Bold sausage and cream cheese wrapped in a fluffy crescent roll.

1 pound Ground breakfast sausage
8 oz Cream cheese
2 packages Crescent rolls ((refrigerated, 8 in each))

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Start cooking your sausage. Once cooked add cream cheese and mix together until cream cheese is melted.
  • Roll out crescent rolls and place a spoon full of cooked sausage and cream cheese into each roll and roll it up. Place each roll onto a prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-20 minutes (time will vary depending on the brand you use. See how long your crescents call for and use that temp and time). Your crescent rolls should be nice and golden brown and cooked all the way though.

1 pound bulk pork sausage
2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened - divided

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir sausage in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes; drain and discard grease.
  • Spread dough from 1 package of crescent rolls out onto a work surface and pinch perforations together to create a single sheet of dough. Spread half the cream cheese over the dough sheet, leaving a 1/2-inch margin all around. Sprinkle half the cooked sausage evenly over cream cheese. Roll dough up into a log, starting at a long edge; wrap log in plastic wrap or parchment paper. Repeat steps to make a second roll; wrap. Refrigerate rolls at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

1 lb roll sausage ( i use bob evans) if you like spicy use the hot sausage
2 can(s) pillsbury crescent rolls
1 3 oz package cream cheese softened
1 small onion chopped
1 small can of mushrooms diced and drained

Steps:

  • 1. Brown sausage in frying pan draining on paper towels. While still hot add the rest of the ingredients. Take the crescent rolls out not dividing them. Seal the seams with your hands pinching together! Leave in the rectangular form Place half the sausage mixture on the middle of the crescent roll, roll up like a jelly roll trying to make sure the seams are all sealed.It will look like a log when you are done. Slice into rounds 1" wide. Repeat with the rest of the sausage mixture and other package of crescent rolls.
  • 2. Place on a ungreased cookie sheet and brush with a beaten egg (egg wash). Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 3. You can add cheddar cheese to the mixture if you like as well. Grate in some to the mix!!!

1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons chives, snipped
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 egg, lightly beaten (or egg substitute)

1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
sesame seeds (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
