  • Choose fresh, ripe fruits: The quality of your fruit will make a big difference in the flavor of your salad. Look for fruits that are brightly colored and free of blemishes, and if possible, buy organic fruit.
  • Use a variety of fruits: The more variety of fruits you use, the more complex and interesting your salad will be. Some good choices include berries, melon, grapes, pineapple, mango, and peaches.
  • Cut the fruit into bite-sized pieces: This will make it easier to eat and will help the dressing to evenly coat the fruit.
  • Make the dressing ahead of time: This will allow the flavors to meld and will make it easier to assemble the salad at the last minute.
  • Chill the salad before serving: This will help to keep the fruit crisp and refreshing.
