WINE SPRITZER

Wine Spritzer image

Alot of times, if a bottle of red wine sits open for a couple of days, I find the flavor has changed and I don't enjoy it as much. Instead of throwing it out, I like to make wine spritzers instead. Instead of using ginger ale or seltzer, I really like them made with Fresca. Freshens up the wine and is really tasty! Add more or less Fresca for your tastes. Great for summer evenings on the deck.

Tips:

  • Use a dry or semi-dry white wine for the spritzer. Sweeter wines will make the spritzer too sweet.
  • Use fresh fruit for the best flavor, especially for the citrus fruits.
  • If you don't have any fresh herbs on hand, you can use a teaspoon of dried herbs instead.
  • To make a non-alcoholic spritzer, simply omit the wine and add more sparkling water or club soda.
  • Serve the spritzer immediately after making it, while the fruit is still fresh and the bubbles are still fizzy.

Conclusion:

Sassy Wine Spritzer is a delicious and refreshing cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a spritzer that is sure to impress your guests. So next time you are looking for a festive and delicious drink, give this Sassy Wine Spritzer a try.
