These bars are easy to make and everyone loves them! I usually make them for the holidays and set them out as part of a dessert/cookie plate. They work well cut into 1-inch squares. Real butter is the key to the rich flavor. These will also keep in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.

- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Stir cake mix, 1/3 cup melted butter, and egg together in bowl. Press mixture into prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and fragrant, about 15 minutes. Spread marshmallows over crust and return to oven. Bake until marshmallows are melted, 2 to 3 minutes. Cool completely.
- Melt peanut butter chips, corn syrup, 1/4 cup butter, and vanilla extract together in a large saucepan over low heat. Stir crispy rice cereal and peanuts into corn syrup mixture. Pour peanut mixture over marshmallows. Cool completely. Chill in refrigerator until hardened, about 1 hour. Cut into 1-inch squares.

Steps:
- 1. Add, margarine, peanut butter and chips to a medium sauce pan and heat until ingredients have melted together. Stir as they are melting to combine evenly. Remove from heat and add the sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well blended. Then stir the miniature marshmallows into the mixture.
- 2. Divide the jar of roasted peanuts into thirds, and evenly spread 1/3 on bottom of of the baking pan, Stir 1/3 into the mixture above. Spread mixture on top of the peanuts in the bottom of baking pan, Carefully press mixture evenly into the pan. Sprinkle the remaining peanuts on top. After they are evenly distributed, press them slightly into the bar mixture so they stick to the bars.
- 3. Place into the refrigerator to store. To serve cut into bars. Enjoy!

- To make crust:.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Butter 9x13-in pan. Set aside. In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, butter and salt. Using pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Pat into bottom of prepared pan. Bake crust for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven. (leave oven on).
- To make topping:.
- Meanwhile, combine chips, corn syrup and butter in saucepan. Melt ingredients over medium heat. Remove from heat. Add vanilla.

- 1. Combine flour, brown sugar, salt and 1 cup of butter. Blend well. Press into an ungreased 15x10 jelly roll pan. Bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes.
- 2. Remove from oven and sprinkle nuts over crust. set aside.
- 3. Combine syrup, butter, water and butterscotch chips in pan, Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over nuts. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes more. Cool. and cut into bars. enjoy. xoxoxo
