Broiled salmon is incredibly moist and tender and perfect for a weeknight meal. The cooking time will depend on the thickness of the salmon; I suggest checking for doneness after 10 minutes.

Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon: Look for wild-caught, sustainably sourced salmon that is fresh or frozen. Fresh salmon should be firm to the touch and have a bright pink color. Frozen salmon should be frozen solid and not have any signs of freezer burn.
  • Cook the salmon properly: Salmon can be cooked in a variety of ways, but the most popular methods are baking, grilling, and pan-frying. No matter which method you choose, make sure to cook the salmon until it is cooked through but not overcooked. Overcooked salmon will be dry and flaky.
  • Make the pineapple sauce ahead of time: The pineapple sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This makes it a great option for busy weeknights.
  • Serve the salmon with your favorite sides: Salmon goes well with a variety of sides, such as rice, potatoes, vegetables, and salad.
  • Conclusion:

Salmon with pineapple sauce is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The sweet and tangy pineapple sauce complements the rich flavor of the salmon perfectly. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
