1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt

Additional confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. 2 c butter, softened
4 c all purpose flour
4 c walnuts, chopped
1 c sugar
4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla til fluffy and light.
  • 2. Mix together flour and salt, and add to creamed mixture. Stir in the nuts.
  • 3. Shape into 1" balls and place 1 1/2" apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 20 min at 325 degrees.
  • 4. Cool on cookie rack and then roll in powdered sugar.

1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
⅓ cup confectioners' sugar for decoration

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
