Steps:
- In a medium bowl, using a fork or potato masher, mash the avocados until chunky. Add the onion, cilantro, bell pepper, and chile. In a small bowl, combine the lime juice and package of Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing & Seasoning Mix. Add to the avocado mixture along with the pepper and stir gently to combine. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the guacamole, pressing to eliminate any air pockets (this will help keep the guacamole from turning brown). Serve at room temperature.

Tips:
- For the best guacamole, use ripe avocados that yield to gentle pressure. Unripe avocados will be hard and green, while overripe avocados will be mushy and brown.
- To easily scoop out the avocado flesh, cut the avocado in half lengthwise and twist the halves in opposite directions. Then, use a spoon to scoop out the flesh.
- If you want a smooth guacamole, mash the avocados with a fork or potato masher. For a chunkier guacamole, chop the avocados into small pieces.
- Add your favorite seasonings to taste. Common seasonings for guacamole include salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin.
- For a more colorful guacamole, add some chopped cilantro, tomatoes, or red onion.
- Serve guacamole immediately or store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Guacamole will turn brown when exposed to air, so it's best to cover it tightly with plastic wrap or store it in an airtight container.
Conclusion:
Guacamole is a delicious and versatile dip that can be enjoyed as an appetizer, snack, or side dish. It's also a great way to use up ripe avocados. With a few simple ingredients and a few minutes of your time, you can make a delicious guacamole that everyone will love. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy snack or appetizer, give guacamole a try.
