HOMEMADE CHEX® PARTY MIX
This homemade snack mix recipe my mom has had since it originated in the 1940s. This was always a holiday favorite at our house. So much better than the newer versions with a richer flavor with the extra butter. This is a very hard-to-find recipe so I thought I'd share. Great to put in tins and give away. I always quadruple the recipe and store extra in freezer. Store in an airtight container or large zip-top bags.

Tips:
- Use fresh herbs: Fresh rosemary and thyme are essential for the best flavor.
- Toast the Chex cereal: Toasting the Chex cereal before adding the other ingredients gives it a nice crunchy texture.
- Don't overcrowd the pan: When toasting the Chex cereal, be sure to spread it out in a single layer so that it toasts evenly.
- Use a large bowl: You'll need a large bowl to mix all of the ingredients together. A large mixing spoon or spatula is also helpful for stirring.
- Serve immediately: This Chex party mix is best served immediately after making. It will start to lose its crunch if it sits for too long.
Conclusion:
Rosemary and thyme cocktail Chex party mix is an easy and delicious snack that is perfect for any occasion. It's also a great way to use up leftover herbs. Next time you're looking for a quick and easy appetizer or snack, give this Chex party mix a try.
