Steps:
- Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Sit the cones in a muffin tin to hold them upright.
- Put the butter, flour, custard powder, vanilla, sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Beat together with an electric whisk until smooth. If you have nimblefingered little helpers, hand round pairs of teaspoons and set them to work filling the cones. If you're making them yourself, spoon the cake batter into a food bag or disposable piping bag, snip off the end to give you a wide hole, then pipe into the cones, filling them ¾ full - this will enable you to get the batter right to the bottom.
- Bake the cone cakes, still in the muffin tin, for 30 mins until a skewer poked into the centre of the cake comes out clean. Leave to cool.
- To decorate the cakes, beat the butter until smooth, then add the icing sugar and vanilla, and beat again until well mixed. Put into a piping bag fitted with a big star nozzle, then pipe icing on top of each cake as you would a cupcake. Decorate with sprinkles, cherries, drizzles of sauce - whatever you like.

Tips:
- To make the rose cupcake cones, you will need a special rose cupcake cone mold. These molds can be found online or at some kitchen supply stores.
- Be sure to grease the mold lightly before baking the cupcakes. This will help the cupcakes to release easily from the mold.
- Fill the mold with batter only about halfway full. The cupcakes will rise as they bake, so you don't want to overfill the mold.
- Bake the cupcakes according to the recipe instructions. The baking time will vary depending on the size of the mold and the type of oven you are using.
- Once the cupcakes are baked, let them cool completely before decorating them.
- To make the buttercream frosting, you will need to beat together butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- You can use a piping bag or a spoon to apply the frosting to the cupcakes.
- To make the rose decorations, you will need to use a rose petal cutter. Cut out rose petals from fondant or modeling chocolate.
- Attach the rose petals to the cupcakes using a little bit of frosting.
Conclusion:
Rose cupcake cones are a beautiful and delicious treat that is perfect for any special occasion. With a little bit of planning and effort, you can make these cupcakes at home. Just be sure to follow the recipe instructions carefully and you will be sure to have success.
