Tips:

  • Use a variety of meats: Combining different types of ground meat, such as beef, pork, and veal, can create a more flavorful and moist meatball.
  • Don't overmix the meatball mixture: Overmixing can result in tough meatballs. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
  • Use breadcrumbs or crackers to help bind the meatballs: This will help to keep them from falling apart.
  • Season the meatballs generously: Use a variety of herbs and spices to flavor the meatballs. Some good options include garlic, onion, parsley, basil, oregano, and thyme.
  • Brown the meatballs before cooking them in the crock pot: This will help to seal in the flavors and prevent the meatballs from becoming dry.
  • Cook the meatballs on low heat for 6-8 hours: This will help to ensure that they are cooked through without becoming overcooked.
  • Serve the meatballs with your favorite sauce: Some good options include tomato sauce, marinara sauce, or barbecue sauce.

Conclusion:

These easy crock pot meatballs are a delicious and versatile dish that can be served as an appetizer, main course, or side dish. They are also a great way to use up leftover meat. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a delicious and satisfying meal that the whole family will enjoy. Here are some additional tips for making the best crock pot meatballs:
  • If you don't have any breadcrumbs or crackers on hand, you can use rolled oats or quinoa flakes instead.
  • You can also add some grated Parmesan cheese or chopped nuts to the meatball mixture for extra flavor.
  • If you are using frozen meatballs, be sure to thaw them completely before cooking them in the crock pot.
  • You can also cook the meatballs in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-40 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
