Number Of Ingredients 13

1 T. flour
salt
2 c. onion sliced
1/2 c. parsley
1/2 c. water
1/2 T. Worcestershire
1/4 t. betts
20 chicken thighs(without skin and bone)
Red pepper
1/2 c. ball pepper sliced
1/2 T. garlic
1/2 c. white wine
1/2 T. soy souse 1 cooking bag

Steps:

  • Put salt and red pepper on chicken. Put flour and chicken in cooking bag. On top of chicken put onion, bell pepper, parsley and garlic. Mix water, wine, Worcestershire, soy souse, betts and pour in bag carefully. Cook at 350 for 1 1/2 hrs. to 2 hrs. Serve on rice

Tips:

  • Use a spice blend: A Cajun spice blend is a great way to add flavor to your chicken. You can make your blend or use a store-bought one. Be sure to adjust the amount of spice to your liking.
  • Marinate the chicken: Marinating the chicken in a flavorful liquid will help to tenderize it and infuse it with flavor. You can use a simple marinade made with olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, and spices, or you can get more creative and use a more complex marinade, such as one made with yogurt, buttermilk, or beer. The longer you marinate the chicken, the more flavor it will have.
  • Preheat your oven: Be sure to preheat your oven to the correct temperature before roasting the chicken. This will help to ensure that it cooks evenly. If your oven is not preheated, the chicken may not cook properly.
  • Roast the chicken at a high temperature: Roasting the chicken at a high temperature will help to create a crispy skin and juicy meat. Try to roast the chicken at 425 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.
  • Use a roasting pan: A roasting pan is a great way to collect the juices from the chicken as it cooks. These juices can be used to make a delicious sauce or gravy.
  • Baste the chicken: Basting the chicken with the pan juices will help to keep it moist and flavorful. You can also add additional herbs or spices to the pan juices for even more flavor.
  • Let the chicken rest: Once the chicken is cooked through, let it rest for a few minutes before carving it. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender and juicy.

Conclusion:

Roasted Cajun chicken is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful and satisfying meal that the whole family will enjoy. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dinner idea, give roasted Cajun chicken a try!
