1 rutabaga, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil, or more to taste
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon white sugar
¼ teaspoon dried basil, or to taste
¼ teaspoon dried oregano, or to taste

Steps:

  • Place a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Place rutabaga in a large resealable plastic bag and drizzle olive oil over it. Seal the bag tightly and shake until rutabaga is nicely covered with oil.
