Tips:

  • Choose a good quality pork tenderloin: Look for one that is firm and evenly colored. You can ask your butcher to help you select a good one.
  • Trim the pork tenderloin: Remove any excess fat or sinew from the tenderloin. This will help the glaze adhere better to the meat.
  • Score the pork tenderloin: Use a sharp knife to score the pork tenderloin in a criss-cross pattern. This will help the glaze penetrate the meat and make it more flavorful.
  • Marinate the pork tenderloin: The marinade in this recipe is simple but effective. It helps to tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor. You can marinate the pork tenderloin for as little as 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  • Cook the pork tenderloin to the right temperature: Pork tenderloin is a lean cut of meat, so it is important to cook it to the right temperature to avoid drying it out. The USDA recommends cooking pork tenderloin to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Let the pork tenderloin rest: After cooking the pork tenderloin, let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the meat, making it more tender and flavorful.

Conclusion:

Roast pork tenderloin with apricot miso glaze is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a special occasion or a weeknight meal. The combination of sweet and savory flavors in the glaze is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a delicious and impressive main course, give this recipe a try!
