Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the dressing will taste. If possible, use organic or locally-sourced ingredients.
  • Make sure the eggs are at room temperature: This will help them emulsify better with the other ingredients.
  • Use a microplane to grate the Parmesan cheese: This will help distribute the flavor of the cheese evenly throughout the dressing.
  • Adjust the amount of lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce to taste: Some people prefer a more lemony dressing, while others prefer a more Worcestershire-y dressing. Use your own judgment to find the right balance for your taste.
  • Let the dressing rest for at least 30 minutes before using: This will allow the flavors to meld together and develop.

Conclusion:

Rick Stein's Caesar salad dressing is a classic for a reason. It's simple to make, yet incredibly delicious. The dressing is creamy, tangy, and garlicky, and it perfectly complements the crisp romaine lettuce and crunchy croutons.
