SPICY PUMPKIN PIE II
This is for all the people who don't like pumpkin pie. I don't like pumpkin pie either, but this one's different. It's so spicy!! It has become a much anticipated family custom. It's best to make your own pie shell instead of using the ready made kind because they aren't deep enough. This recipe is easily doubled.

Tips:
- Use fresh pumpkin purée: Fresh pumpkin purée will give your pie a richer flavor than canned pumpkin purée.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make your pie tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Blind-bake the pie crust: Blind-baking the pie crust will help to prevent it from getting soggy.
- Let the pie cool completely before serving: This will give the pie time to set and the flavors to develop.
