Time 55m

Yield 12 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 (18 ounce) package dark chocolate cake mix
4 ounces chocolate instant pudding
2 cups sour cream
4 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup Kahlua
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients (except chips) with mixer, beat for 2 minutes on high.
  • Add chocolate chips.
  • Pour into greased and floured bundt pan 10".
  • Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees to 1 hour until done.
  • Dust with powdered sugar.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate: The quality of the chocolate you use will greatly affect the flavor of the cake. Look for a chocolate with a high cocoa content (at least 70%) and a rich, dark flavor.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can result in a tough, dense cake. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cake at the right temperature: The cake should be baked at a moderate temperature (350 degrees Fahrenheit) so that it has time to rise and cook evenly.
  • Let the cake cool completely before frosting it: This will help to prevent the frosting from melting.
  • Use a variety of toppings: You can top the cake with a variety of ingredients, such as chocolate chips, nuts, or fresh fruit.

Conclusion:

This rich chocolate bundt cake is a delicious and decadent dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its moist, chocolatey crumb and rich, chocolatey flavor, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're in the mood for a chocolate fix, give this recipe a try.
