Tips for Making the Best Egg Drop Soup:

  • Use high-quality chicken broth: This is the base of the soup, so make sure it's flavorful and rich. You can use store-bought or homemade broth.
  • Don't overcrowd the pot: If you add too many ingredients at once, the soup will become cloudy and the eggs will not cook evenly. Add the ingredients in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the eggs slowly: Stir the eggs constantly as you add them to the soup. This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from curdling.
  • Season to taste: Add salt, pepper, and other seasonings to taste. You can also add a splash of soy sauce or rice vinegar for extra flavor.
  • Serve immediately: Egg drop soup is best served hot and fresh. If you need to store it, let it cool completely and then refrigerate for up to 3 days.

Egg drop soup is a delicious and easy-to-make soup that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It's a great way to use up leftover chicken or vegetables, and it's also a healthy and flavorful meal.
