Tips:

  • Choose ripe and flavorful red peppers. Look for peppers that are a deep red color and have a firm texture. Avoid peppers that are bruised or have blemishes.
  • Roast the red peppers before using them. Roasting the peppers will bring out their sweetness and flavor. You can roast the peppers in the oven or on a grill.
  • Use fresh cilantro and jalapeños. Fresh herbs and peppers will give the relish the best flavor. If you can't find fresh cilantro or jalapeños, you can use dried herbs and peppers, but the flavor will not be as good.
  • Chop the ingredients finely. This will help the relish to come together and make it easier to spoon onto tacos, burritos, or other dishes.
  • Season the relish to taste. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or lime juice to taste. You can also add a pinch of sugar if you like a sweeter relish.

Conclusion:

Red Pepper, Cilantro, Walnut, and Jalapeño Relish is a delicious and versatile condiment that can be used to add flavor and spice to a variety of dishes. It is perfect for tacos, burritos, sandwiches, and salads. It can also be used as a dipping sauce for chips or vegetables. The relish is easy to make and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
