RED LOBSTER GARLIC CHEESE BISCUITS
This is my version of Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I think they have more flavor than the restaurant's. I won a recipe contest in our local newspaper with these biscuits. Everyone who tries them ALWAYS ask for the recipe.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 450*.
- Mix garlic salt, dry mustard and cayenne into flour. (I like to use a wire whisk).
- Cut in Crisco or butter until mixture resembles cornmeal.
- Fold in cheese.
- Add milk and mix gently.
- Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto buttered cookie sheet. (I like to use a mini ice cream scoop).
- Brush tops with melted butter.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
- *Note~ I recently rolled and cut these biscuits out because I wanted a 'pretty' result for a party, they did not rise well and turned out to be hard flat discs.
REAL RED LOBSTER CHEESE BISCUITS
I changed a previously posted recipe. We ate at Red Lobster 2 days ago and this recipe duplicates their biscuits really well.

GARLIC CHEESE BISCUITS AKA ( RED LOBSTER BISCUITS)
They ain't Red Lobsters, but they dang close! Great tasting and just about as close as you can get to the original Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Been cooking these up for a long time now and the family enjoys them. Hey they are great just by themselves without a meal, acourse some shrimp scampi would be awsome with them too! Enjoy!

Tips:
- Use fresh, high-quality cheddar cheese. This will give your biscuits the best flavor.
- Make sure your butter is cold before you start. This will help create flaky layers in your biscuits.
- Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make your biscuits tough.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the biscuits rise and hold their shape.
- Bake the biscuits until they are golden brown. This will ensure that they are cooked through.
- Serve the biscuits warm with honey butter or your favorite dipping sauce. This will make them even more delicious!
