- 1. Combine boiling water with cinnamon candies in a saucepan, stir over low heat to dissolve candies. remove from heat stir in gelatin. Blend in applesauce. Pour half of mixture into a 2 quart mold or an 8 inch square pan. Chill until firm. Blend softened cream cheese with mayonnaise, add chopped nuts, and or chopped celery. Spread cream cheese mixture over chilled mixture. Pour remaining gelatin mixture over cream cheese mixture. Chill all several hours till firm.

- Core the apples, but it isn't necessary to peel them.
- I like the texture of having the peels in the sauce.
- Dice them very fine.
- Tumble everything into a large pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce to the slowest simmer you can arrange on your stove so the sauce won't burn on the bottom of the pot.
- Cover, stirring occasionally, until you reach the consistency you want.
- The longer, the finer texture.
- I usually cook it about 3 hours.

- Dissolve red hots and lemon jello in hot water.
- Add applesauce and divide into 2 equal parts; put one part in an oiled jello mold or 13x9 pan.
- Cool until set, keep second half of jello mix at room temperature.
- Combine remaining ingredients and spread over jello that has set up.
- Top with room temperture jello mixture; return to refrigerator to set until firm.
- Unmold or cut in squares.
- If you use the swirl method, add entire jello mix to 13x9 pan, partially set, then swirl through the cheese mixture and return to refrigerator to set firm.

- 1. put 1 cup water in small saucepan melt candies... watch close so they don't burn
- 2. put jello in lg bowl...add candy mix... stir to disolve jello
- 3. add applesauce stir well put in fridge til it starts to set up
- 4. add nuts[ i have also added celery,rasins,]... mix well... put in nice mold dish... refrigerate til set
- 5. before serving...unmold
- 6. mix cream cheese[at room temp] with a few drops of milk... til spreading consistincy... frost mold.. sprinkle a few nuts on top...
