1 medium head red cabbage, shredded
3/4 c apple juice
salt to taste
2 apples, peeled, cored and diced
1/2 c golden raisins
4 Tbsp cider vinegar
4 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp oil

Steps:

  • 1. In a dutch oven, place cabbage, apple juice, and salt. Simmer mixture for 15 minutes.
  • 2. Add the raisins and apples and continue simmering until cabbage and apples are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
