Tips:

  • Choose the right cabbage. Red cabbage is the traditional choice for this slaw, but you can also use green cabbage or a mix of both. Just be sure to thinly slice the cabbage so that it will be tender and easy to eat.
  • Use a sharp knife or mandoline. This will help you get thin, even slices of cabbage. If you don't have a mandoline, you can use a sharp knife to slice the cabbage by hand.
  • Don't overdress the slaw. A little bit of dressing goes a long way, so be careful not to add too much. You can always add more dressing later if needed.
  • Let the slaw chill before serving. This will help the flavors to meld and develop. You can make the slaw up to a day ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.

Conclusion:

Red cabbage and Roquefort slaw is a delicious and refreshing side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you are looking for a simple and delicious slaw recipe, give this one a try. You won't be disappointed!
