Zesty Liver Pate image

My husband loves it and I make him some with crackers. It is so easy to make it. It is so good and tasty.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/3 c butter or margarine
1 lb chicken livers
3/4 c coarsely chopped green onions
3/4 c chopped fresh parsley
1/2 c dry white wine
3/4 tsp tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp salt
crackers or french bread

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter in large saucepan; add chicken livers, onions and parsley. Saute until livers are evenly browned and cooked through. Transfer to blender or food processor container. Add wine, tabasco sauce and salt; cover. Process until smooth. Pour into decorative crock-style jar with lid. Chill until thick enough to spread. Serve with crackers or French bread.
