Yankee Baked Beans image

This is my cousin Pat's recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (31 oz.) can(s) pork and beans
1/3 c brown sugar
1 tsp mustard
1 c ketchup
6 slice bacon
1 Tbsp diced onion

Steps:

  • 1. In a skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Crumble.
  • 2. In bacon grease fry onion until cooked. Set aside with a little of the bacon grease. (about a teaspoon)
  • 3. In a sauce pan combine all ingredients. Sprinkle onion on the top.
  • 4. Cook on medium for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
