Wrecked Golf Cart image

My husband and I drank these a lot on our honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The first few sips taste a bit like cough syrup, but after that, they are very good. Serve over ice. It is also good to add a little bit of sprite to it if you find that it is too strong. Let me know what you think. It seems like you either love it or hate it! I just want to keep the recipe so we can remember Mexico! ;) UPDATE: 08/05/2009 since posting this like two days ago, I have made a few of them each night for DH and I to enjoy on our deck in the hot afternoons and evenings here. I have found that, if you use the ocean spray diet cranberry it is super yummy. Just an FYI!

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my dish turned out way too salty. I think I may have added too much salt by accident.

This recipe is a bit too spicy for my taste. I would recommend using less chili powder next time.

This recipe was a hit at my last party! Everyone loved it. I made a few changes, though. I used a different type of cheese and added some extra spices. It turned out great!
